People caring for someone over the age of 18 can sign up to get a carer’s emergency card. This will ensure that the cared for person will be safe if you’re caught up in an emergency. A leaflet for sharing with any carers you are aware of is included in the appendices. The leaflet and the form to sign up for a carers emergency card, are available on the Norfolk County Council website.

Who is the “In My Place” service for?
It is for anyone who gives unpaid care to a relative or friend who is ill, disabled, frail, has a learning difficulty, mental health or substance misuse problem and needs regular help to stay safe and well. You may be caring for more than one person.
